70th Anniversary of Operation North

It was the largest confessional deportation in the history of the USSR. 9,793 followers of the religion of Jehovah's Witnesses and their families lost their homes and were sent to Siberia. The decision was approved personally by Stalin. The echoes of the operation are felt even 70 years later, in the context of modern criminal prosecution of believers of this religion in Russia.
